In the late 80s/early 90s, there were a few Phillies rookies who were supposed to go on to do great things. Ricky Jordan was one of these, and he made a big impression by hitting a home run in his first at bat in the majors, and again in his second game. In 1988, Jordan batted .308 with 11 home runs and 43 RBI, and got 3 points in the Rookie of the Year voting, to come in eighth.
Baseball Cards magazine at one point included a sheet of cards in the style of the 1959 Topps set. Some people must have kept the sheet intact (you can find the sheet uncut on ebay), but I cut mine apart. They gave Ricky Jordan a card in the style of the 1959 Topps Rookie Stars.

Jordan ended up playing in the majors from 1988-1994 and in 1996, with a career batting average of .281, a total of 592 hits, 55 home runs, and 304 RBI. He was with the Phillies on their pennant-winning 1993 team which lost the World Series to the Blue Jays, and hit 2-for-10 in 3 World Series games.
Just because I also had it at hand, here is a regular rookie card of Ricky Jordan, his 1989 Score card.
