Some recent Garry Maddox pickups

When I posted the 1978 Topps Phillies team set the other day, I mentioned that I don't think there's a bad card of Garry Maddox out there.  I had decided to get a few more of Maddox, and they've recently arrived in my Black Friday COMC box.

One of the cards I picked is a Phillies police set, sponsored by the insurer Cigna.  I had one of this set already, of Mike Schmidt, which arrived as part of last year's Black Friday haul.  I like this for being another 80s card of Maddox, who was quite important to Phillies fans of the era, and for being a second card in my collection from this odd set.

I also added this Kellogg's card of Maddox, and the 1985 Donruss.  The Kellogg's card is just the first card in my effort to have a bunch more Kellogg's and Hostess cards of stars of the 70s.  My COMC account currently has a bunch of cards towards this plan.  And the 1985 Donruss is because I hardly have any 1985 Donruss, and if I wanted to pick up one more from the set, Maddox is a good pick.

Finally, I picked up this MSA disc.  I never had heard of these discs when I was originally collecting in the 80s and 90s, but I've seen a bunch of them on the blogs in the past year.  I decided to pick up a few, and this is one of the few non-Pepsi ones I've bought so far.  I'll post the Pepsi MSA discs I received before long.
